It's actually a really good UV. You can get ASI max if you use swiftstrike buckler, making your ASI high alchemer into max!

It's good, it's just that I don't like cryotech in particular. After freezing an enemy you -ideally- stop shooting and set up a charge or something, you don't take full advantage of that extra speed. Or at least that's how I use it.

As for the cryotech, it's an ambiguos question. High ASI is better than no ASI but it depends on how you use the weapon. Since it's a cryotech you might freeze enemies with a single bullet rather than shooting and switching fast like crazy.
