I think a cool idea would be for guilds to be able to turn unbound weapons or materials into trophies for their halls. I don't think it would be too much trouble now that spiral knights has implemented 3D models for all of their materails and weapons/armors.
My idea is that in order to display an unbound mat/arsenal in a guild hall, you'd have to put it into a "display case." And this "display case" would be an item that you'd have to craft either by the normal alchemy machines or the one's that only guilds can use. SK can decide the material/energy requirements to craft a display case to make it as difficult to obtain one as they see fit, possibly even make an item specifically for crafting the display cases. Of course, the "display case" should be tradeable or should have the ability to be put up for auction in the AU.
I also would suggest that once an item gets put into a display case, it can't be taken out as the display case will be "sealed" once it has something in it, but that doesn't necessarily have to be the case.
I think that this idea is a good one because it would not only be easy to implement, but it would be a big addition to the SK guild hall decoration and would also increase the demand for specific items, CE, and crowns which would either be met by an increase in time/number of players spend playing the game or an increase in game-purchases.
Please tell me what you think.
We already have weapon trophies or stuff like that. Honor set trophies. (Honor swords with a shield)
Those were only given in the Homecoming celebration event in November.
