Portrait de Autofire
Autofire

Beast: Growler/Howler/Roarer
Cosmetics: Wolver-like creature. Bushy tail is split at the end. Spines along back. It has no teeth.
Lore: See this.
Quirks: No status variations.
Behavior: Behaves like a Wolver when it comes to dodging. Stays very passive, remaining behind all the other Wolvers whenever possible and putting moderate distance between itself and the players.
Actions:

  • Growl [(T1 ONLY) Greatly decreases defense of any knight in a moderate area around the Growler. If the Growler is attacked during this attacked, Growl will be canceled early. Leaving the AoE will also cancel the effect until reentering the AoE. Growler may not move until this attack is finished.]
  • Howl [(T2 ONLY) In addition to the effects of Growl, this greatly decreases attack power and attack speed, and increases charge time.]
  • Roar [(T3 ONLY) In addition to the effects of Howl, this greatly decreases movement speed and freezes Battle Sprite Cooldowns.]

Construct: Hack Spite
Cosmetics: Looks mostly like a Proto Battle Sprite, but has many tools jutting out of it from odd places.
Lore: As a result of a short amount of research, the gremlins were able to reproduce simplified versions of the Battle Sprites which the Collector had taken. Though lacking many features, it is still a deadly foe when paired with constructed cohorts!
Quirks: Due to lore and story reasons, this enemy doesn't appear in T1.
Behavior: Always follows any construct or gremlin if one is near. Will fire off various actions when it deems fit.
Actions:

  • Storm Barrier: [Surrounds the enemy which Hack Spite is following with a barrier of Electricity. This will shock any knight which gets too near. Has a slight chance of shocking the followed enemy.]
  • Heart Sap: [Marks all knights in a radius around the followed enemy. If a enemy attacks a knight marked by Heart Sap, it will regain some HP.]
  • Transparent Cloak: [Turns the followed enemy invisible for a short period. If the enemy effected by Transparent Cloak is attacked or does an attack, this Cloak will end early. (T3 ONLY: Enemies effected by Transparent Cloak may still attack without ending Transparent Cloak.)]
  • Nasty Hack: [(T3 ONLY) Hovers near a knight for a second. If nothing is done about Hack Spite, then it deals the status "hack", which locks out a single quickbelt item or weapon. Hack cannot be reused until the effects of a previous hack have expired, nor can Hack effect every weapon slot.]

Slime: Vita Cube
Cosmetics: Looks like a deep purple Jelly Cube. It doesn't have any spikes, regardless of tier.
Lore: See this.
Quirks: None
Behavior: Behaves like any other Jelly Cube.
Actions:

  • Tackle: [Normal damage attack.]
  • Vita Explosion: [Upon death, a 3 second counter begins. Upon running out, a explosion with twice the size of a Blast Cube blast occurs. This explosion deals knockback to knights but no damage. This fully heals any enemy in the blast radius. In T2 and T3, smaller blobs are created which also explode and heal, albeit much less than the main explosion.]

Undead: Brain Eater
Cosmetics: Looks like a skeletal, ancient beast. Has a tail, two legs, and two clawed arms, and is hunched over.
Lore: None
Quirks: There is one for each status.
Behavior: DOES NOT approach player unless all players are too far away for it's abilities to function. (This excludes Swipe and Bite)
Actions:

  • Swipe: [A standard zombie-like swipe. Does split shadow and normal damage. Only used when players are within striking distance.]
  • Bite: [(T2-3 ONLY) Leaps forward and chomps. If this hits, it will repeat twice in T2 and forever until missing once in T3. Only does this when alone. This may do a status, and deals shadow and normal damage.]
  • Miasma: [A zombie-like breath attack with range which gets greater with tier. This DOES NOT deal a status, but instead deals doom. While doomed, the player moves slower. When Undead monsters attack a doomed player, the monsters are healed slightly.]
  • Brain Sap: [Focuses for 6-4-2 seconds, depending on tier. During focus period, a red target will be on one of the players. If Brain Eater is injured during focus, the attack ends early and Brain Eater is knocked down. When focusing is done, the attack begins. This attack IS NOT shieldable. It's effects vary from tier, with effects from previous tiers carrying up to higher versions. Brain Sap's effect ends early if the Brain Eater gets injured.]
    1. Disables minimap. Gives a dark effect on the screen, which makes it harder to see objects at the edges of the screen. Lasts 3 seconds.
    2. Disables Shield HP indicator. Dark effect increases. Enemies flicker, sometimes being completely impossible to see. Lasts 5 seconds.
    3. Disables HP and Status indicators. Dark effect is the same as in T2. Enemies stay transparent all the times except for when the player takes damage. Lasts 8 seconds.

General note: These are support class enemies, like Gremlin Menders and Silkwings. While some may attack, their general role is to provide aid for other enemies, usually of the same monster family.

Growler Lore, suggestion!

Beast: Growler/Howler/Roarer

Growler = Once a calm yet ravenous Wolver pup, the constant change in each new world in the Clockworks' Atmospheres force it to evolve into a somewhat newer creature, that has also seemingly enhanced abilities. This "Wolver," can decrease Knight Defenses in it's range with it's signature move, "Growl."

Howler = A Growler further evolving, it simply has entered Tier 2, and has more capabilities in it's enhanced move, "Howl," than the previous "animal." Howl has more serious effects than it's Tier 1 counterpart, the difference being a de-buff to an opponent's attack power and speed.

Roarer = The final evolution of Growler. It has traveled to the Tier 3 atmosphere, and began an unexpected change in power. It can screech at its opponents with "Roar," and decrease their Movement and Sprite Cooldowns, in addition to decreasing attack power and attack speed, and increasing charge time, along with Knight Defense decreases.

Vita Cube Lore, suggestion!

Slime: Vita Cube -- Applies for all Tiers

A cube of deliciously(and may be edible!) jelly, do NOT take it for granted. Granted it may be cute, but as it evolves toward Tier 3, it can be very dangerous. Its patented Vita Explosion can heal any enemy allies within it's range, so watch out! It can be very annoying. Rumor has it that there is one Vita Cube with a mustache on it's... face.

Note, though it MAY be edible, it can still blow up in-- [Kora's Note: Don't believe what Chief Bio-whatever Hahn says about it blowing up in your guts! IT IS COMPLETELY EDIBLE SO DON'T YOU DISREGARD MY RESEARCH, HAHN!]

You are experiencing a PICNIC ERROR!

Linked the Lore of your posts, because it's an easy way to credit you, and because I don't want to put all that in the post because it might be a little long! >.< Also, the Lore section was intended for a short description of why the enemy is even there and how they relate to the story. Vita Cube, just like Blast Cubes and Jelly Cubes, don't have any real reason for existing, and nor do Growlers. Because Hack Spite comes straight off the Sprites, there should be an explanation.

All that said, I like the Lore you made up. lol Kora. :P

But...

Supports add good gameplay as long as they aren't "HEAL THEIR FACE OFFFFF!!!!"

I.e. Brain Eater. If you get Brain Sapped, an ally may stop the sap early.

Support!

I support this support squad. Personally, I'd make the Vita Cube white. Why? Look at when a silkwing dies and imagine that in the place of the explosion. Hmm...the gr/how/roarer I imagine as an Alpha Wolver size but when it does the weird yapping thing it activates the support ability. You know, that one moment that's perfect for launching your attack on a wolver. The brain eater concept I'd rather stick on a turret. Why? Because the miasma effect will work much better with a still point of reference of the range within where enemies can be healed. Maybe multiple brain eater turrets can activate the brain sap ability when a knight is within multiple brain eaters' ranges?
