I'm kidding, calm down.
Speaking of game-changing updates, I was thinking about the implications of an arsenal limit. Part of this upcoming update is to increase the speed at which one can diversify his or her arsenal. However, I have considered something to add on to that. If gear was all unbound and arsenals had a limit of 5 of each piece per type (5 helmets, 5 swords, 5 bombs, etc. ) there could exist a new aspect to the game.
Three types of trade could be implemented: permanent trade which is already in existence, temporary trade, where you can swap gear with members of your current party at the arsenal station (I need fire resist but you need ctr, so I'll swap my chaos for your vog), and guild/friend trade. Friend trade would make it possible to trade with your friend from anywhere, but they must be online. Or, in regards to guild trade, your guild could have a storage to borrow from. This can also be cancelled at any time by either friend/guild master (note: if mid-run, you may choose another piece to compensate).
For one, this would dramatically increase social activity. Two, this would upset everyone that likes all the uv'ed gear that they already have. Three, this makes it much easier to test every possible gear. Also, this would have to go along with the rank-star relation (no 5* for soldiers, but you would have to own a piece of equivalent ranking to trade).
To go along with it, temporary storage increase can also be added, but for a short time with a high price. Max 2-3 storage increase I think.
All of this would apply to swords, bombs, guns, helmets, armor, and trinkets, not mats or tokens.
On the downside, this would severely affect the AH system as many weapons would no longer be bought, but personally I don't mess with the AH so I couldn't really care less.
Hmm... I think that's enough for now.
Uh, NO! QUADRUPLE WIELDING!!!!!!!!!!!111
Allow the player to wield 2 weapons, and their battle sprite to wield an additional 2 weapons.
