I came across a Mewkat
I came across a Mewkat earlier.
It dropped a Haunted Aura for me and a Ghostly Aura for my Friend. I don't think Soul Jelly drops anything, it's like the Green Jellies.

I actually found a Soul Jelly
I actually found a Soul Jelly yesterday (first one) and it sadly dropped nothing for neither me nor my friend. Nothing being no mats, cr, or heat.
The level was the D19 Beast Arena if anyone is curious.
Oddly enough I happened to do the arena again and I found a Love Puppy the second time, no drop there either.

Rock jellies are not rare and are actual spawns in some levels of Scarlet Fortress.
It's just that every time you break a Rock block there's a small chance a rock jelly pops out.
And this rock jelly that pops out? There's a chance for an impostocube to spawn instead of the rock jelly. Imagine, a nick-like jelly cube spawning from a STONE BLOCK o_o

As for the soul jelly, I have never 'heard' an instance where it dropped anything, but that is simply me going by ear.
I will say it definitely should drop something, but then again I wouldn't be surprised if it never did.

No, you get that one from Impostoclaus. The Blade, maybe? No, you get that one from Feron just before he dies. The Bubble Gun? You find THAT under a campfire in some Lichenous Lair. So the Soul Jelly drops... the Spur? No, you turn your Polaris into that by giving it back to Vise. Which only leaves one thing... the Missile Launcher! You get the Missile Launcher from Soul Jelly.
And if you can name the game that I've clearly been playing too much, you get internet cake.
