so trying to make some of the food but it requires another mote which that mote requires 2 of itself is this a glitch?, and how am i to get more food because i can't get anymore without making it going to be stuck at lvl 5.

actually, you don't need a
actually, you don't need a mote to make a mote. you need 2 1* materials. the game is just automatically choosing your other motes I think because they are bound and the game wants to get rid of our bound motes first. you can choose what 1* mats you want to use. just click on one in your arsenal on the right.

Another problem with it is the fact that when you make a mote, the ruddy thing decides to go back to the "default" choice. Not nice.

Just select the material you want to spend manually by clicking on it on the arsenal tab. Didn't you read the mail GMs sent about it?
I made a Shadow Mote and it used up my 2 Fractured Mask Fragments.. Thought to myself it must be an error but it wasn't. Now I have to do T1 OCH 3 times again.
