It would be a nice toggle feature if we could disable material and rarity notifications in the chat feed. We already see the material at our feet, then appear over our heads and fly into our inventory. Additionally, there is no longer a question of who received something, since everything I see is mine due to the new loot system. Interrupting conversation seems unnecessary now.

No, like the invite thing is now on the new UI. Where it hides on the side until someone sends an invite. /clear just hides it until you pick up another item.
