Loot Should Show on Radar

The two changes meant to make team play more appealing actually make it less for me. Giving everyone a free life (and more importantly disabling reviving teammates), means teamwork is no longer a great boon, since if I mess up solo, it's fine. I just get back up. But that doesn't make me want to avoid parties, just gives me less of a reason to.

It's the loot that makes parties a huge hassle compared to playing solo. Since it's now instanced, you might think that I no longer have to worry about getting less material than when running solo. Everyone gets all the loot! But no, actually, it's had the opposite effect: since my teammates cannot grab loot for the rest of the team, it means if we want full drops we have to run around like crazy trying to find it all, especially on levels with wide open areas. Before this simply meant you might miss some pills or vials, maybe a Vitapod. Now it means you can miss a significant amount of loot.

These two changes destroy certain kinds of teamwork (can't even split up to get through a level faster), and, for me, seriously disincentivise having a team. Having loot on radar would go a long way to fixing that, since it would mean way less running around when making sure you've grabbed everything. Although, it has to be said, even with radar it'll still be a pain to go chasing loot on those larger levels after a party gets split up.

Splitting up is not teamwork. A true team has to stick together as if they were a single person.

Your platitudes have entirely convinced me, despite not reflecting the reality of the gameplay of Spiral Knights.
