The highest healthy boost perk is V, which is the Roman numeral for 5, and it's a 5* perk, and gives 5 health, and it does not go over five stars so that's the maximum you get.

OOO, fix this please-sprite perks should not be allowed. In my opinion anyway.

It'd further break the balance.

Nah, OOO probably has no monetary interest in fixing this soon. It's the main reason why LD even allows UVs and your own specific gear anyhow. People spend real life money getting that unfair edge to make their ego just a tad bigger. I know multiple cases of this in SK, so it does indeed fund SK at least somewhat.

ITT: People who want LD's balance shifted THEIR way, not balanced in general.

One more reason to stay away from LD like it was Chernobyl!

I'm waiting on people to refute me on the pay to players who use IRL money to rage roll for UVs targeted for LD. Y'all know there's whole guilds of people who do this, right? I can guarantee you another source of imbalance will provide another cash source point for OOO to milk (The kicker: I don't blame them).

I don't mind this, it does mean that it doesn't take a crownionaire to get maximum everything.

Sprites should be left out of LD.

@Grantgalitz

Perks in LD is a bug, UVs are not. Removing a bug is not equal to balance.

Except health boost starts at 0* with +1, 1* has +2... 5* should have 6.

@ Qwao: Yeah no, I can

@ Qwao: Yeah no, I can confirm there's a Healthy Boost VI that is a 5* perk, with +6 health. Someone else already provided a picture for it, but yeah, it's there.

On behalf of all of Credibility Problems, I would simply like to thank you for furthering our reputation with your Sprite's name. I'm sure we would applaud you if we weren't all too lazy to move our arms.

@Grantgalitz: The reason this is a bit more of an issue than UVs becomes most clear in lower teirs of LD. For example, someone with a level 100 sprite can hypotheically run MSI med, sword/gun ASI/damage med, in T2, or (heaven forbid) in T1LD. Someone fresh to the game will almost certainly not have those perks, whereas they could (hypotheically) have gotten UV bonuses from random crafts.

The issue as I see it is that it adds variables (MSI, bomb damage, +6 health, etc. in T1 and T2) to what is already an unbalanced game, and while T3 may not be affected as much, it will certainly affect T1 and T2.

@Nottheanswer; I believe that

@Nottheanswer; I believe that the tier star limits apply for the battle sprites so I assume a level 100 battle sprite must be unequipped when playing tier 1/2 lockdown.

How do we know it's a bug? Because it wasn't announced? Lots of changes this patch wasn't announced.

Like a triple max UV weapon is ever truly "balanced." At least sprite bonuses are more attainable than the rage roll UVs. Don't they stack anyhow, so all the pay to play crying right now can just spend a 'lil more of their irl money for their ego stick.

I'm not saying that this is more balanced than UVs but this is more balanced than UVs.

@King-Tinkinzar: Some of my guildies have said that sprite perks do not follow the normal * level limits. I'm still only at 0*/1* perks, but verification either way would be great.

If it is the case that only lower level perks can be used, I suppose they cold scale perks? But how do they scale MSI for T1/T2?

If it's not a bug, then it's the 2nd stupidest thing ever.
The first one is the damn red screen when you get hit.

IT'S NOT A FIRST PERSON SHOOTER!!!

Yes. UVs cost (a lot) and anything beyond med is worthless compared to a good connection and/or a good computer.
Trinkets can easily be obtained by anyone.

As illu pointed out, sprites can't be used in LD (thank God), why would perks be there?
Also, another +6 HP bonus is totally unfair (i'm thinking about strikers with way too many HPs).

Whee

I brought my level 50 Masky into T2 LD just fine, so I'm guessing sprites work just like equipped shields as far as LD is concerned, except for the perks working and all :> I don't actually have any 4* perks yet though, so I can't say anything about whether they work in a lower tier or not.

So all the super strikers of T2 are now harder to kill, blargh. On the bright side, I can now also be immune to freeze hazes...maybe. :D

Why are you crying about UVs?

Why are you crying about UVs? Get overbit. A UVless pro can beat a UVed noob. Honestly, just use your brain and UVs won't be too muchcof an issue.

Sprite perks in LD actually might be a cool idea. It would prolong battles, and since CE revs were removed, it would match.
