Does anyone actually use this? It looks like it'd be godawful for a place like FSC where everything is on fire, but in general for arcade and MAYBE for lockdown the advantages seem to outweigh the disadvantages especially if you're not godawful at the game (I think I might be...but it's k, I'll learn.)
At any rate, thoughts on this set?
I kinda like swords, so if I used it I'd probably be using the typical 3 types of sword damage and maybe a bomb
I use it all the time. It's especially great in FSC, where it's really easy to not catch fire. I'm a bit wary to use it in other fire places, though.
After Skolver clones, now we have Chaos clones! Universal Damage Bonus (Very High) and CTR (VH) make it delicious. If you are sure you can dodge all (well, most) attacks, then make Chaos set. It's OP if you don't run into darkfire.

Yes, people use this set. In some sense, the only UVs you need these days are status UVs on a Chaos set. Once you have that, the rest of your equipment is an afterthought.
Using this set with appropriate shields, trinkets, and UVs, you can get very close to maximum stats on all weapon types. So this set is great for all weapons. But obviously Chaos itself gives you CTR and damage. So it's really great for charge attacks. Consider charge-oriented swords (e.g., Brandishes, not WRH or Flourishes), charge-oriented guns (e.g., alchemers, not Antiguas), and bombs.
Anything that does well with charge. DA, alchemers, blitz, all bombs to name a few.
How is choas op if you catch fire with basic normal health in fsc your nearly dead from a spotlight on it.
so how do you see it op also its is useless till 5* magic/elemental/miracle all are basic stat armor so its wourth it in the end.
Because as people hone their skills in sk, they get hit less and less. And at that point, it becomes more about offence, killing them faster to speed up the dive.
Divine mantle with curse resist med chaos cowl with stun resist high Volcanic Plate shield with defense med. The hammer, Polaris,barbarous thorn blade, boltbrand 5* version forgot the name. I am gonna do fcc alot and I do pvp a lot and when not laggy very good in pve. Could someone rate this?
I don't know what fcc is, but you'd probably want a blitz instead of Barbarous Thorn Blade for FSC in end-game mode. Voltedge and Hammer have their uses, Polaris is good for unskilled players VS rocket puppy.
Divine Mantle? With curse res med? The curse resist is pretty much useless honestly, but I guess if you wanted the defense it's fine. Stun resist doesn't have much use either except maybe trojan and vanaduke smashes, I suggest you get a fire med or at least a fire low or something for Chaos cowl.
Why get Divine Mantle instead of Divine Veil? The veil has a fiend bonus that the mantle doesn't have. Like Qwao, I don't understand your particular choices of UVs...unless you got these randomly? They're slightly useful, but not very useful.
Your weapons are fine, although it's noteworthy that you have no shadow damage in there. As Qwao says, you also have no Blitz Needle, which is a popular weapon in FSC. Wearing Vanaduke down with Polaris is doable, but takes a while.
Hint: Get fire and shock UVs; curse is a non-threatening status unless you're using armor of the fallen for UFSC.
Especially in FSC or anywhere near shock traps o_O AND if you're not good @ dodging.
I currently use half chaos (cloak) and the Crown of Fallen to grind FSC but I'm close to making my chaos cowl fire med :D so that would be my best SAFEST bet in my opinion.
OPTIONAL: You can also get Vog coat + CC but the extra shadow bonus from the Fallen will help protect you from getting more damage from the firey slag! (CoF also gives +Fire & Poison which counters the negative effect of the cloak)

This set is brilliant if you never get hit, that's the main thing. if you're a new player and get hit alot then i wouldn't recommend this set but if you're a good player than this set is one of the best sets out there.
You shouldn't be getting hit that often. And its a ctr for all weapons, damage for all weapons.
