Having trouble with Trojans, T3 Thwackers, Mortafires, the dreaded Snarbolax, Mecha knights, Royal Jelly's spin attack, Grimalkins, Lockdown's Guardian shield, the Roarmulus Twins, and/or Deadnaughts?
Whip out your once underused Iron Slug and laugh as you use your charge attack to punch right through thier puny "invincibility!"
So long as you exclude bypassing bosses invincibility, this would be a nice way to bring it from ruins to riches while making it unique from other weaponry.
Some people have suggested truly "piercing" rounds like DA sword bullets. I'd prefer that.
Iron Slug is so underpowered I don't see why not. Maybe it'd fit Callahan more and then Iron Slug could get the stun and some other buff, though.

Calm down. Also, it's irrelevant because it would be faster to just kill whichever boss you're facing the regular way at this stage considering the underpoweredness of Iron Slug.
I would begg to differ, but I don't beg so I will just differ. Some people like my self have teribru luck on the twins, so having something that would just let me flip a table and kill them regardless of my aim would be a preference.
Maybe not vanna but anything else sure works. This way I can hit things that got invinca-ticks from my shards! :D
Being able to punch through partial invincibility or temp shields like Trojans, Dreadnaughts, Darkfang Shields, Battlepod Flux Shields and Darkfang Mender Bubbles would be awesome, nothing else though.
This isn't a suggestion. The hell are you trying to get at here? Make the iron slug brokenly op? make it able to kill any boss at any time?
