In my last fight with the Royal Jelly he did not turn pink for his primary attack, as he used to. I didn't see anything in the latest patch notes, so I'm assuming it's a bug. I've never had this issue before.
Royal Jelly did not change colors.

Somewhat related: Ice jellies don't show that they have "melted" after they catch on fire. Vanaduke head phase is always blue flame.
I can confirm this for the last three times I have fought the Jelly King since the update, he no longer changes colors.
