Personally I am not a fan of the new heat system because of how difficult it is to level up some weapons (especially the 4* ones) But however instead of complaining i'd rather put a suggestion down on how to improve it.
Recently I've started Branching out for new weapons, which means I need to go through and level up some 2* or 3* gear.
However my problem is how common it is that I would find my Item get close to a heat level but not quite reach a stage where i can spend my crystals, This was not a problem with the old heat system where the heat would instantly carry on through the next level.
My suggestion is to have some sort of heat pool tool of some kind which would collect up this ''Waste'' heat and allow us to spend it on an item after we leveled this.
This could also mean that once we leveled up our gear fully we can store that energy for a later use and level up gear without having to run through the clockworks?

re-re-stating idea again. doing this because it seems that everybody is ignoring topics, so spamming my idea seems legit.
every [instert amount here] if heat would rise the crafting success rate of 1%. rewards would not be affected. maybe there should be a cap on the first, but like 75%. so the heat in excess would go into something useful and we can keep the forge.
I suggested something similar in someone else's thread, so I'm quite alright with this sort of idea. It can be found here for reference.
