Upgrading Fire Crystals and wasted heat

I had an idea, a way to combine Lower Tier Fire Crystals to turn them into the higher tier ones.

Now, a scenario Ive noticed happening quite a lot.

When Ive got gear that are fully leveled, waiting to be leveled, or generally cant accept anymore heat, where does it all go?

nowhere, its just wasted, i always thought that when one object can accept heat, and the others couldn't, it would get ALL the heat, but i notice that's not the case (possible addition? :3 )

but an idea that i think would be interesting, Sense we no longer have Mist tanks, perhaps we could make it seem like we converted it into a sort of Tank that could hold heat, or maybe just add special Fire crystal that can store heat.

and that you could take that stored heat to the forge and combine Fire Crystals.

like two cracked into one Dim, two Dim into one warm, two warm into one glowing, ect. ect.

and each combination needing 10 units of heat.

the reason i say 2 for 1 is because, when i look at the icons for the crystals, it looks to me as if each tier is twice the size of the last, therefore it would fit that 2 could make 1, thats just my outlook though.

What do you think?

You know, I'd say that is a

You know, I'd say that is a very good idea. If you want to level up high-end stuff, but can't go through the Tier 3s on elite, then this would make things a lot more bearable; I could farm lower-level crystals and turn them into the higher ones I need. As long as they would be, as you suggest, one larger crystal per 2 smaller ones.

The conversion must be harsher, to incentive players to play the appropiate levels for them instead of doing easier missions and convert the crystals at sunch convenient prices.

Say, you'd need 2 Cracked for a Dim. But when you jump to T2, at least 5 Dims for a Warm. (i still think it's too low X_X)

Juances, trust me on this -w-

look at the icons for the crystals, the general size of them leads me to believe that two could make one
