Like this previous energy promo, with us buying those rare accessories in the supply depot, i was hopefully thinking that this could become a permanent thing, but for regular accessories; every week it would cycle different accessories and costumes. I'm sure many people would get into this; it would be a good reason for us to buy energy. This could mean great profit for the company, plus, it'll make the lives of many knights much easier. I'm no good with Auction Houses, so this would make accessory hunting more favorable to me. I also want OOO to make cash, so that we can have expansions and a future for this game. I could buy so many different accessories... I'd have so many costumes, too... .... the current way to get accessories and costumes is too complex and irritating for me, and i'm sure it is for many other people, too...

"I also want OOO to make cash"

You're also going to give the power of greed to OOO.

If that were true, then they

If that were true, then players wouldn't have a spending limit of 100$ a month on SK.

Just to put it in, but Steam users have no spending limit in SK, at least that's what I have heard from people. Could be wrong though.

The entire economy does not revolve solely around greedy hoarders of limited edition accessories.

I wouldn't be surprised if this were their grand plan.

I wouldn't object to it either. Certainly wouldn't.

I would. CE market rates becoming untenable again would probably be a bigger drag on revenue (F2Pers on the fence about buying energy taking one look at the Energy Depot, seeing that 100 energy costs 9k crowns, going "wtf this game sucks" and leaving) than accessories would contribute.

Oh no! They're threatening our ability to trade virtual objects that we bought from lockboxes! The "economy" factor of the game is really non-existant, and kind of cruddy in my eyes. I don't like to go out of my way to trade and buy and sell every detail of every item to make a profit. I'm glad they have some items for the goofy traders, but lets keep it like that.

Why do the F2P players care about energy again? Having it doesn't help them in any way, save for a few necessities. If people quit over the energy system post update, its because they REALLY don't like free to play trappings and I can't say I blame them. But people shouldn't ever be quitting over a price point. They just don't need energy to upgrade their gear or get through anything.

The ultimate in micro-transactions is a cosmetics store. It doesn't feel unfair to the average Joe looking on to the game. It doesn't let people pay 200+ dollars to beat the game instantly. It doesn't force players to economize their piddling amount of energy over the course of 3 months.

Most F2P games (TF2 comes to mind), make most of their money via some kind of costume store. I have no problem with SK following that model.

@Fehzor: You took the word right out of my mouth.

Soon enough, everyday is a special day that needs a sale.

Another suggestion I'd like

Another suggestion I'd like to add, for the many people who dislike the forge, is to change the heat amplifiers into crystal amplifiers. Double the crystal droprate? Aren't heat amps considered as useless, now?

Yes.

I could pile up on moar stuff I might like to use in the future, muhahaha.

(Suggestion: Add Dragon Hoard room to Guild Hall where I can sit and bathe in my shinies. ;P )

It's a shame though, why are there more favourable comments here than on my thread of being grateful for the last sale? (http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/86350)

Keywords I look for in the Auction house: Fury, Storm, Thunder, chap, humbug (only to see if it's good to sell the one I have left), frosty (Pith, Sallet, Tailed, Brigandine, for Forever Noob uniform/party outfits), aura (Sunshine, Leafy), laurel, crown, crest. Also used to have: dragon, valk.
The following in Prismatic/Divine/Military/Regal/Cool: toupee, scarf, vents, mohawk, long, vee, ribbon, plume

There are probably more fans of the promo on the Suggestion thread than on the General Discussion thread. Maybe there were too many dislikers on general discussions?

Steam users do have a spending limit. Though I had never had just a $100 limit. Mine was always $200, and I wonder if it has increased to 400. I'm not willing to put the funds on my steam to try finding out.
