I realize that once I hit Level 100 (+5 for the rest of the perks) that I will never feed my sprite again. It'll just go starving for the rest of its life. Am I a bad person? I mean, I don't see other people feeding their Sprites once they hit Lv100.

Am I a monster?

Beep boop, son. Beep boop.

It's a robot.... don't you remember? More of a cyborg really.

Just because it's a cyborg doesn't mean it doesn't feel hunger or other emotions. I mean, it clearly has feelings for me despite being a cyborg. I mean, Cyborgs can't feel... right?

Bloop bleep?

If he/she doesn't need to eat... I don't think he/she will mind you not feeding him/her. (I'm getting Crona syndrome here)

"You're not a good person. You know that, right?" (Portal 1)

But when you hit level 100, you don't get anymore perks, etc, no? If not, then you can let it starve :P But don't feel too bad, it gets hungry every hour, so technically you're still starving it every night.

Actually, once you max it out, it gains hunger but cannot eat.

Don't feel bad. Talk to

Don't feel bad. Talk to Biscotti; sprites don't actually eat, they catalyze your spare materials to convert them into heat. That's why you can "feed" them things like Corrosive Acid and Rocky Cores and they won't die or anything. The appetite mechanic is to prevent you from leveling your sprites too quickly, don't read too much into it.

you know you're too into the role-playing

You know you're too into the role-playing aspect of this role-playing game when...

You worry about your battle sprite going unfed.

You painstakingly move each FSC depth 25 sprite to the magic circle, so that they are all together and happy.

You respond to NPCs on missions, when they thank you for rescuing them.

You say a brief memoriam over Arkus' corpse.

You start a new knight so that you can try a new personality, rather than just continuing your old knight with all of his gear intact.

You consistently adopt a crazy dialect for your forum posts. (By the way, I love Thunderbog's dialect.)

Of course!

Yes. Spiral Knights are all monsters. It's a well-known fact that, apart from some research, most of what they do is slaughter the inhabitants of the Cradle. Furthermore, you have a battle sprite, and therefore you are a Spiral Knight. Syllogism.

Honestly I can't imagine not doing this. And it's not "painstakingly" - being good guy is nothing but joyful experience ;-P
