I hate the forge it absolutely kills spiral knights i like the no energy elevator though now i cant even get my sword to level 10 without getting fire crystals!

well with your complain i believe you only like to farm and farm and farm vana so hard that he dont even feel his back side due the constant punishment you give him with that gun you have in your hands, and THATS the reason why you find hard to level up your stuff.
Ok then forge is gone but we have to be back the old system, Mist energy that limit you to play 10 level per day

and while you can get the energy to keep playing i bet the only level you would play and only farm its the boring storm citadel.

Like it or not, this new system revived the game, brought back players that were gone, and give arcada a good purpose, the problem its vana farmers dont want to go outside vana AND THATS why they find trouble leveling their gear and get the crystals. you know Arcade dont bite and you get lots of crystals spark of life, and even orbs of alchemy and a nice payment with CR.
i dont find forge that hard to use, its the same thing but now you can level up your gear in arcade even with nice payment in CR without worries about profit.
Anyway you can have both system or you want forge gone but we go back the old Mist energy system, or we have free level content and easy crafting without energy but we have to keep forge. YOU CANT HAVE BOTH.

sure.. because we are lagging so bad due the lack of players we have in the server... "we dont have so many knights playing in the server" thats why we lag so bad...

Would you rather have free heating with no stops, but limited elevator accessed with mist?
Or would you rather have free elevators, but with fire crystals?

I am not sure about other people, but I actually like the forge. It's either the forge or that god awful pay-to-play as much as you want system. I am a P2P player and even I hated it. They did the right thing getting rid of it. You can now play whenever you want. So there is no rush in getting heat crystals since you won't ever run out of energy as the mist system has been completely removed. Alchemy is also a lot easier now too but that's another story.
Is using the third option so hard?
I really think people don't think the easiest way at all.
