It seems they fixed the weapons.
I'm one of the sprite resisters. I didn't get one. And when I took a 5* weapon on a run, I couldn't kill anything. If I threw a vial or managed to blow up a box while a monster while close enough to it, they'd lose health. Then, I'd shoot and shoot and watch the health meter quickly go up on the monster while it was being shoot. Same thing applied to the sword. Yesterday, I killed a gremlin for the first time since the update.
