this weapon idea is based on the concept for a 5* of the spur series, (yes another one). however it doesn't exactly follow the theme of air but necromancy or in this case mecromancy. hence the name thread.
the sword is a 5* branch though could be 4*- up for debate- and could be normal/elemental/ or shadow. the standard combo is a three hit combo same as the other spur line swords. the charge is the interesting bit, whereby it unleashes a ghost of a machine that will wonder around for the duration 5 seconds or so. it can do one of the two following suggestions (pick your preference):
-move freely and deal limited damage to opponents as well as take an also small amount of damage before expiring.
-I realise with the above one it is effectively going to be useless or OP, so this is the second possibility. the mech wonders around but does not actually deal any damage but distracts enemies into attacking them. they are of course ghosts and will not take damage.
-effectively useless in PvP though, so the third one is a whereby the charge unleashes about 4 or 5 small machines that move towards enemies and attack dealing no damage but they can take damage and can get in the way of enemies and players.
-another option is where the charge launches skull at the target that breaks down into small cluster skulls and explode dealing 1/2 damage of the actual swing of the blade.
this sword isn't expected to take over other ideas of a 5* spur line, but instead run along side them for a bit of extra variation. the damage type of this weapon should not change the type of any other 5* sibling. for example the mecromatic deals shadow while another 5* spur still deals normal, not elemental supposed opposite.
with the motor on the blade their could be a skull cover, a dark rusted handle and the blade itself could be a dark grey.
let me know what you think particularly with the charge, I would like to see more options too.
