Before the last patch
In the Danger Mission Legion of Almire one of the knights dropped a Haunted Aura, but it was before the last patch came, when they still would drop the crimsonite minerals, so dont know if it can happen again or if its fixed/removed.

It does seem kind of unfair
It does seem kind of unfair that you can no longer get the 5* Lionheart Honor Blade and I hope they make it available somehow someday.
I also hope that rare drops like the one described in the OP become a lot less rare.
