I read the event announcement but it's still confusing to me <_> Can someone explain in layman's terms? :p
We just do missions/T3 run, kill black kats, get tokens, and trade tokens for stuff?

That's pretty much it. The really amazing part wasn't mentioned in the announcement, though. Black Kats have (had) a 1% chance of dropping a Book of Dark Rituals on death. This can be taken to the Konjuring Kat at Moorcroft so he can summon Margrel, the original Black Kat who is pretty much the reason all the Kats are dead in the first place. When defeated, Margrel drops a Black Kat Cowl for the Book's owner and 6 tokens for each party member.

Yes. The Black Kat spawns randomly in undead depths.

why not read the wiki?

Why not read the wiki page for "Black Kat", "Book of Dark Rituals", etc.?

You could also go to the release notes, and search within that page for "Black Kat".

I'm not trying to be snide. I'm just trying to help you discover a world of information!

So I can farm mission 8-1 for black kats? Is the drop rate of the book affected by difficulty?

we don't know

Is the drop rate of the book affected by difficulty?

We've had only a few hours with both Black Kats and difficulty levels. The question you asked requires significant data collection, to sort out the trend from the random noise. So you'll have to wait a while, to get your answer.
