Sprint function (A way to get around faster)

I'm pretty sure this has been suggested before, but this is my version. (Or whatever)

Sprinting would simply make it to where you can move about x2 your original movement speed. It is infinite, but has some drawbacks. When you are sprinting, you have limited turning mobility. This means you cant turn your player as fast as before. And after you stop sprinting, you do a small slide. (You know, to stop yourself) This does nothing but make it to where you cant move for about half a second. Also note that you can still take damage.

The controls, I'm not sure. You could maybe customize it to where you can hold down the "Sprint" key, and moving will activate it.

This is simply for those parts of the game where you need to get somewhere faster. (Like those long "hallway" things in Clockwork Tunnels. Or even getting around in Haven.) Please tell me what you think!

Okay. Thanks for the recap I know about. Those have cooldowns, and are limited in length. Did you not read what I had posted? This is just for transportation!

not needed, try again.

We already can move rather fast with out dash spaming. The only time this would be helpful is if we didn't always sprint. Look at the movment model, we are already sprinting everywhere how would we run even faster?
