Hello ^.^ Just curious on whether Grey owlite provides a more overall use or is it the Volcanic Plate. Interested in listening to everyone's thoughts and idea. And if any of you say BTB or CoA imma shield bash ya'll in the FACE.

different types
Grey Owlite has normal, elemental, fire, and shock protection. Volanic Plate has normal, fire, and stun protection. So they are pretty different. I'm not sure why you're comparing these two shields in particular.
People like Volcanic Plate because it looks cool, it's not as popular as Grey Owlite, and its protections are extremely well-matched to depth 28 of Firestorm Citadel.
Elsewhere in the Clockworks, Grey Owlite appears to be more generally useful. Shock is very dangerous. Constructs shooting elemental projectiles are common.
