You were asking which shard bomb was best for LD, and shocking salt is honestly the only one worth a damn. While all the shard bombs inflict trivial damage, shocking salt will inflict shock, even on opponents with enough shock resistance to take a voltaic tempest will get affected by it.
I don't recommend it for serious use, but it's fun to derp around with.
For serious LD bombing, Nitronome has a good amount of both damage, coverage and knockback. All hazebombs have uses as well.

The four pure damage ones are even in damage. The normal damage one does however, for some reason, inflict less damage than the others and everybody has defence against it regardless so it's not the best. That leaves us with Crystal, Dark Matter, and Splinter. Considering the popularity of Skolver and Chaos, I'd definitely say Dark Matter is the best for plain damage in LD, although as Zaiddy Sedd, Shocking Salt Bomb is overall better although still terrible due to the shock.

shard bomb for ld?
ive tried using shard bomb for ld and it ended up as a joke. i'd love to see a video of shard squad winning ld matches with all shard bombs. lulz must be really annoying for other team

Bombs
As a recon, I've been trying to get into bombs.
I really enjoy using the graviton bombs. They make it easy if you're trying to get away from a striker.
I also like big angry. That bomb is so fun to use.
