It's nice that we can now level up items without having to farm lower tiers, but we still have to farm lower tiers to be able to create them. So could we get some recipes for Orbs?

No.
It used to be that from 3* up, you had to buy CE to craft. With real money or Crowns that cost Mist, CE, or Elevator Pass to earn. Now you want it all for free!?
As someone else said somewhere in a similar thread, used to be that making 5* would be at least 1100CE, now it's 400 (or 650 if you buy 2* and 3* too). And Crowns are free!
You know, what might help new players would be crafting Orbs UP. (Figuring they might gather a lot of low level Orbs while getting ready to delve deeper.)
Also, crafting Fire Crystals up would be nice. Unless the developers have plans to create a reason for 5* players to heat 0* and 2*. (1* could be for LD.)
Sure. We can do 2:1 for the higher tier orbs.
Eternal orb of alchemy -> 2 Elite orbs of alchemy
Elite orb of alchemy -> 2 Advanced orbs of alchemy
Advanced orb of alchemy -> 4 Simple orbs of alchemy
Simple orb of alchemy -> 5 Flawed orbs of alchemy
Though I'm not sure if anybody will agree with me.
