Now this doesn't have to be anything fancy. It can be just as same as the normal or guild training hall but with the striker, recon and defender boosts available so we can practise for LD. Now this can be implemented in 2 ways.
1) By adding these 3 booster ports in the current guild and Haven training halls or...
2) By adding/creating an entirely new training hall in Haven where we can practise using stuff like the striker set etc.
What do you guys think? Is this a good idea? Will it benefit players in any way? Post your thoughts and suggestions!

We've thought about it as an easier way for inter-GvG.
Although many players would want this it would probably be hard to implement because:

a) What would it do to the servers if every GH has a LD area
b) LD would be empty
c) should it cost money once as an upgrade, or every time you play it (as LD is a crownsink)

Like the idea, but Feyi has a good point

Instead, maybe make a "Practice Arena" in the Coleseum, where people can pay 200 crs to automatically be send to a practice Lockdown game. All mechanics are the same, except there's no point system, so it goes on infinitely. When a player joins he instantly gets to the locker room, and when he leaves, he leaves. When a map reaches 16 occupants, a new one is created.

The word 'noobslaughter' comes to mind.
There will be no training if everyone can enter it.
Another reason why we need LD ranks..

Only trolls would pay 200 crs just to beat up on noobs (since there's absolutely no chance of profit). Plus, the teams would be random, just like real Lockdown. It's basically unlimited gameplay at the cost of no rewards.

Sorry to be the one breaking it to you but:

1) There are a lot of 'trolls', especially in LD.
2) Most people serious about LD don't care one bit about the rewards. Back when I used to play I had enough Krogmo coins
to empty Sulivan's inventory and then some.

It would then basically be infinite LD, which isn't enough of a change to implement it as a seperate form imho.

Interesting...

It could also be divided into tiers that restrict the use of higher level weapons, regardless whether you're of the rank to use them or even own them. There can be the training area, where people can choose along with others to decide how they want to play, either with lower-tier weapons or upper-tier weapons. Then as for the main network, there can be 3 different tiers a player must go through, starting at tier 1.

Training / Boot Camp will be restricted by the majority vote of those in the lobby. Players will still pay the fee, but can also earn points as well. I would say 1 - 5 points, depending on their performance. (Most kills, most captures, most defenses, etc.) The game will progress infinitely until a 'milestone' is reached (Say, every 20 - 30 minutes, it refreshes and changes the map), allowing for training sessions to be used effectively. You won't be penalized for leaving a training session, but you will not earn any points.

Tier 1 [0 - 250] will be restricted to weapons that are 2* or less, and will feature weaker traps and obstacles, so newer players can adjust to the game without being bullied by upper-tier people. This tier will be locked after the player has earned a fair amount of points, showing that they can play the game and play it well. (75 - x amount of points, you decide for this.)

Tier 2 [251 - 750] will be restricted to 3* weapons or less, and the traps and obstacles in the maps are a little more challenging, but still avoidable if being careful. This tier will be locked after the player has earned enough points to enter Tier 3, displaying that they know the ways of how to achieve their goal and be a team player.

Tier 3 [751+] will allow the players to have access to their strongest gear, making for the most aggressive games of Lockdown. This tier is locked to all others except those who have the valid amount of points.

Of course, with this there will have to be a new way of distributing points, to avoid "boosters." Leaving a game session early will also penalize you, starting with a warning. If you do it again, you will be moved down a tier and have to start over from that tier's minimum point requirement. Don't QQ.

i like hardfault's idea

the idea of it being in the guild hall is a good on. GH training halls have doors that lead to different tiers, they could just add one that leads to LD training.
what feyi says about having a LD server in every hall, it wouldn't work like that because only guilds that bought the standard hall could have it, and it could
-possibly- be an add-on that you have to pay extra for, making it so that only the rich guilds would have it. and since there are already guilds have have training halls, adding 1 room to it wont be too much of a burden on the servers. since its just a training hall, you wouldnt be able to hit other players (possibly have a system where you can actively choose a team to so you only fight when u want to) and since it's in your training hall if you dont want none guildies to enter just put a gate on the room

LD's just no the same without

LD's just no the same without players, and a AI would be very hard to make, therefore become vulnerable to bugs/glitchs

there will be no AI for the training hall. the purpose is to get used to the shields, and if you want to fight you can choose teams to fight other guild members. pretty much it's only useful for those guilds that like doing gvg, so solo players wont have much of a benifit (unless a guild open'd their hall to all players)
