I was just thinking about how much I'm sick of getting smacked in the face by a Polaris while playing Lockdown.
There's really no way to hone your Lockdown skills other than spending 200 crowns and hoping you don't end up against a team full of Jempire Skolvers.
Also, there seems to be no such thing as "1v1" in Lockdown; people rarely honor this because they're too busy shoving that ASI High Gran Faust in your face and laughing about it.
So I was thinking that Three Rings should implement a duel system.
I know, this has probably been suggested before, but still.
If this were implemented in an update, players would be able to set their preferred class for PvP (Striker being the default, players will have the option of changing this), and a "Duel" option would be added to the player interactions list. Just click another player, and select "Duel" to challenge them.
If the other player accepts, a menu will appear for both players. It will display both players' current number of wins and losses, as well as their Global rank for Lockdown.
Note that it will only track wins and losses for matches in the same tier. For example, if a Tier 3 player duels a Tier 2 player, it will not track the results of that match.
From the menu, players can either ready up or back out of the duel. However, nothing will happen until both players ready up.
Players in the same Tier with the same class preference can also make bets, but this is optional. Either player can put in a number of crowns that both players must forfeit at the start of the match. The winner will receive all the crowns placed in the bet. In the event of a tie, however, the crowns are returned to both players. If a player makes a bet after someone has already readied up, players will have to ready up again.
Once players enter the space, they will have thirty seconds to load the scene and prepare for the match, and four minutes to kill each other as much as possible. Players will be using their preferred classes only, and they cannot switch. The spawn rooms won't be protected, so once those thirty seconds are up, you'd better get moving. The maps will probably be based on the ones seen in Lockdown, only a lot smaller. When a player is defeated, both players will be returned to their spawn rooms after 10 seconds. The player with the most kills at the end of four minutes will be determined the winner. If a player disconnects during the match, they are automatically disqualified and the other player will win by default.
This is sort of a rough idea, but it works for me. There's been more than one punk who has gotten on my bad side, and I just felt like slamming my Divine Avenger on their heads.
Also, people have said that these ideas would just take away from Lockdown, but I think they've forgotten that the Coliseum is the only way to get Krogmo Coins.

Nope, those jempire clones you hate don't do it for the koins for example. They must already have like millions of them :v

Dueling 1on1 sounds awesome.

But make it a big level with hide and seek and ambush aspects.

But if you camp, you lose in a tie.
