I know that volcanic pepperbox is severely weaker than blitz against most enemies, since it deals normal damage. What I have not seen, though, is how its damage would match up against a blitz on vana's mask. Since the mask is resistant to all damage types except normal, how would the Volcanic Pepperbox charge damage match up against a blitz charge? Also, what would be the difference if both guns were used with max gun damage bonus?

Blitz is so overpowered that even though Vana's mask is resistant to piercing and weak to normal damage, Blitz is still more powerful against it.
Not by much, but it is.

The issue would be carrying pepperbox trough the whole FSC, unless you leave at d27 to swap it.
It's outclassed against everything but gun puppies.

I dont recall normal dmg numbers, but yeah.
