The scientists in the lab have been studying battle sprites heavily since they discovered the mutated sprites. After one experiment that ended in a peculiar way, they created the MAC.
What is a MAC? Simple! In an experiment testing the reason why certain sprites only eat certain types they exposed an E-Class to some moonstone by accident. After a brief flash of light the Mineral Artificial Construct (MAC) was born!
When first acquired all MAC's look like simple green colored orbs, with glowing lights (assumed to be its "eyes") that are the color of the knight the bond to. After the first evolution the MAC undergoes its most dramatic change, it becomes the shape of a diamond (think of the Sims loading screen diamond). After each following evolution it gains a smaller version of its' orb self (without any eyes) that floats around it in a circle, up to a maximum of 4.
The MAC can be equipped with the Golden Harness and the Crystal Harness
Abilities:
Skill 1
Charge
The sprite merges with the armor to cause small spikes to appear around certain places
Effectively like a shield bash, the knight does a short charge forward dealing damage to grazed enemies and stops on the first direct hit with a small bit of bonus damage to the direct hit.
Augments:
Second wind: Reduced cooldown
Crystal Legs: Increased distance
Shards of Splendor: Increased damage
Ultimate 1 Rolling Stone
Player becomes invulnerable for the charge, but the distance is cut in half
Causes sprite to become more opaque looking
Ultimate 2 Speeding Glass
Causes Knight to hit enemies twice when passing, does no bonus damage on direct hit
Causes sprite to become less opaque.
Skill 2
Crystal Spike
Shoots one of the crystals orbiting its' body after forming it into a spike (or its body if hasn't evolved second time)
Does mild damage and no-med knockback.
Augments:
Crystal replenish: reduced cooldown
Blunt force: increased knockback
Shattering Crystals: increased damage
Ultimate 1 Sharp Shards
Causes sprite to shoot all four spikes from around its' body, doing bonus damage, halves damage per shot. I.E. if originally did 20, each spike would do 10.
Causes orbs to become smaller versions of its' diamond self.
Ultimate 2 Saturn's Shards
Sprite's shot "shatters" upon impact doing a small AoE of bonus damage. Slightly lowers initial damage, but the AoE on the intial target brings it back to normal.
Causes the spheres to merge into a solid ring around sprite.
Skill 3
Crystal Armor
The MAC merges with the Knights current armor and forms a bonus set of armor around the knight (think Diamond Head from Ben 10 style)
Raises defense
Augments:
Mineral Muscles: Reduced Cooldown
Mineral Might: Increased defense
Stagnate Status: Increased status defense (med against everything at max)
Ultimate 1 Valestone Golem
Cuts movement speed in half, but doubles defense.
Gives MAC a bright glow around its' core.
Ultimate 2 Valestone Skin
Cuts Defense in half, but gives player speed boost.
Causes either a second ring (if chose Saturn) or 4 more crystals (if chose Sharp) that circle in a vertical path around MAC.
Didn't put damage because I'm not sure what any sprites exacts are
