Why can we not buy the proto gun like they can with the sword, bomb, or shield? Why does the blaster only have one line of upgrades whereas the calibur has two (Leviathan and Cold Iron Vanquisher) and the blast bomb has three (Nitronome, Big Angry Bomb, Irontech Destroyer)? I have always wondered.

Correction: Blast Bombs have four lines. The one you forgot was Heavy Deconstructor which is the best of them all.
The reason we don't have any splits on the Valiance line is because OOO hates us all.

I forgot that I had one of those as well. Go figure. I ought to get back to using it like I did once upon a time.

For the fun of it, I suppose? At one point, I may randomly decide to start switch-shooting Proto Guns at the Snarbolax, just because I want to and have 150cr to spare. XD If those guns ever start being sold again anyway. :P Also, this whole debacle may have increased the Proto Gun's value immensely as a collector's item. XD Having 4 slots of them may be a way to yell out "Hey, I'm filthy stinkin' rich!"
