I was thinking, I want that chain, in silver.

Then I thought, the gate's neat too. (I'm impartial on the keyhole.)

That led to: Wouldn't it be great if we had those in Guild Hall, going up and down to let permitted folks through? (Visual effect only, so you can't sneak in through a restrictive door just because someone else goes in/out.)

Would have to be cropped to 3 squares wide (or you give us moar spaaaaace in the Guild hall ;P ), but that should still leave the neat chain.

You could have a different colour for different ranks. Or even add a crown sink to have Guild Masters decide which rank has what colour (reskin for doors).

You could have them themed. (But please independent of Guild Hall Theme.)

Plenty options to make me sink Crowns into getting a pretty gate. :)

Purely cosmetic, purely Crown Sink, but plenty of fun for those who enjoy this kind of thing.

Added thought:

You could combine this with a friend list for Guild Halls. Let us put a Door at the entrance that only members, and people on the Guild's 'friend list' can pass. (Optionally a bogus-door that is for looks but lets anyone pass.)

Gates in corridors to block off whole sections would be cool too.
