There are 4 missions which can't be changed to go because they are unrepeatable. They are mission 1-2 "The ancient generator", 1-4 "Crossing the chasm", 2-1 "A visit to the lab" and 2-3 "An eternal bond".

Certain missions need to be changed to gold by default
I was thinking a similar thing one day while i was playing, but it would be kinda unfair. think about it, a majority of people finished these missions before difficulties were released, meaning they all finished it on advanced in a sense. so having it auto update to gold (elite difficulty) would be giving them free missions in a sense. Although i agree with usevnsen, there should be an achievement for beating all missions on "elite" and possibly give all players an opportunity to redo the unrepeatable missions when this achievement comes out(there would be 3 achievements, 1 for each difficulty and beating all missions on one difficulty provides the achievement for the lower difficulty).

I think "A visit to the lab" and "An eternal bond" should be treated as breifing missions. Also, what's the point of HoH having a difficulty option?
Yes, please. I would also like to have Elite on every mission, and dislike the fact that those are not allowed.
I was thinking about redoing every mission on elite for the gold shields, because I like having 100% in a game, but if it's not possible, I won't even bother with it. The game is pretty much not 100% Completeable right now.

I want full gold shields on my missions. Maybe make this an achievement...
