Prestige Reward?

This idea came alive typing another post, then thinking it'd better fit here...

I got the 45k points just in case something will ever come off it. I dimly recall there was mention of a reward?

Way back when my initial hope was cheaper Supply Depot prices.

By now I'm so disheartened, I guess I'd even like a unique flower pot for each Badge that was gained, for the Guild Hall. (So the ones with 45k get one of each kind.)
With extra flower pots for every badge stage beyond the 45k (so someone with 90k would get two whole sets).

To elaborate:
Points: Reward

5000: 1 Simple "Thank you for your extra effort" Flower Pot, could be the same as those you can already buy for Guild Hall. Alternately, a ticket to pick one from a special Vendor who has a choice of different colours.

10000: 1 Bristling "Thank you..." Flower Pot, could be a bush like those in Wolver Den. (Alternately, a ticket...) PLUS the above.

15000: 1 Blooming "..." Flower Pot, could be the same as the Simple one, with a small flower peeking out of the middle. (Alternately, a ticket...) PLUS the above.

25000: 1 Thriving "..." Flower Pot, could be the same as the Bristling one, with a lot of small flowers dotting it all over. (Alternately, a ticket...) PLUS the above.

45000: 1 "Thank you..." Tree, could be like those you find in Clockwork. (Alternately a ticket...) PLUS all of the above.

50000: All of the above plus another Simple Flower Pot.

55000: All of the above plus another Bristling Flower Pot.

60000: All of the above plus another Blooming Flower Pot.

70000: All of the above plus another Thriving Flower Pot.

90000: All of the above plus another Tree.

...

I think that should explain the pattern.

You'd get the respective one the first time you reach those points, and then the next at the next points, and so on. For those who already have the points when this starts, the above table, then continuing the cycle.

Or, it's an event repeated once every 6 months or so (a not too predictable cycle, with 2 or 3 days to log on for it like the recent companion boxes), for those that stick around and keep piling up points. In which case you'd get the whole batch up to where your points are, every time (may be a bit much, though).

For those that don't like colourful Guild Halls, I guess they could sell them.
Or the Vendor could have alternative stuff, in which case it would be bound, with of course the possibility to dump into Guild Hall Treasury. (No idea how difficult it'd be to make an exception to the bound status though. Crafting machines already 'take' bound stuff and replace it with a new thing.)

With this I'd happily keep piling up points, not disheartened at all!

I agree

I got 45k to have the cool Trojan badge but now I have no real motivation to gain prestige, something like this should apply so it's just not higher ranked players.

@Mickmane

I already suggested something similar but people just told me it's not worth time to add into the game, cause the prestige badges itself is a prize.

Aotr, I heard people saying that. My reply is: What's rewarding about a beggar magnet that's just a vague indication of some points that have no purpose?

I'd like an option to turn it off, at that. (Actually prestigious would be an indication of how many Sparks of Life you have. I'd like that number displayed instead of the badge, for example. Whether bought or earned, it says something. For me it'd show my lack of skill quite nicely.)

In any case, just because some people feel that thing is a prize doesn't make it true. Us not sensing any sort of reward for those points is real.

And it's not as if I'm asking for free Divine Dragon Wings. The flower pot idea came from some (not sure if it's just German or English too) notion/saying about some not so bright idea being not even suitable to win one a flower pot. But then I remembered that Flower Pots are actually nice in SK!

Please add a link to your suggestion if you can find it.

Lol, eh...

Who let you out anyway, Sylphana? Go clean Crafty's room or something, and get Balzack to the computer nao!

(I don't want to argue with my friend's alts, my own are bad enough.)

You wouldn't get any free stuffs anyway, you don't have the points.

(Posted with permission of the zookeeper of that bag of fleas, er, alts.)

Seriously though, I'm not asking for free stuffs, just a reward for piling up those points.
The badge is just indicating the amount you have, doing it for that is like gathering points for the sake of gathering points. If that was the goal I'd have liked to know in advance so I could have ignored the whole thing alltogether.

I agree, it would be good to

I agree, it would be good to get something useful beyond ranks, for all those prestige points. I'm surprised Devs did not set achievement for getting 45k prestige.

Now I need to go cheer up Sylphana, she was so excited about free stuff.

Why is every reward furniture? What does prestige rank have to do with guilds? What about the people who aren't in guilds?

Derp. :3

What about for the players who wander aimlessly. Forever guildless kind of people. Then the plants have no point to them.

I like where your head's at. I just don't think flowers are the way to go.

Giving lower prices would be unfair.

It would be like saying, "Hey guys who have tons of free time: Have lower prices." Getting high prestige doesn't really involve skill or effort so much as it does lots of time.
