the current status on gremlin looking, or related, weapons is disappointing... im a large fan of the gremlins and believe that there should be AT LEAST 4-star level versions of each of the already existing weapons. i am aware that there is the heavy deconstructor which i use frequently when running construct heavy areas but what about the robo wrecker? or the thwack hammer? maybe even adding a handgun version of the gremlin flamethrowers. if these weapons were added made more useful for higher level tiers i would be extremely pleased and im sure there have been others that have suggested this that would be happy with it too.

If you read the descriptions of all 3 elemental brandishes (at 4 and 5 star level), they say they were improved with some clockwork technology.

If that's not gremlin enough, read Voltedge. The reference is more explicit

Well, I'm always for more things to play with. Even if there's a lot already in the theme.

I would love to mess around with a nice rocket launcher, and yes, a flamethrower. But not as a gun. As a flamethrower. Perhaps the charge of the flamethrower would let you spew flames as long as you want (as long as "as long as you want" is as long as, say, a zombie breath), so long as you don't turn/move - they would stop as soon as you did. Great for making a fire wall for narrow passages. This would probably be in the sword class. As a normal attack, maybe a forward thrust/swishes like a flourish, like you would do if you were attacking with a torch (as in flames on a stick, not a flashlight) irl.

An expansion on the Crimson Order would be a great excuse for more weapons/things. Perhaps bring up a huge list of solidified ideas if and when OOO decides to tease us with spoilers :).

A flamethrower is similar

A flamethrower is similar enough to being a gun.

Besides, a flamethrower is just a glorified Volcanic Pepperbox. Instead of projectiles, you have a "Cone AoE."

yes i do know about the weapons used by seerus... and i would love to get those ones! but im talking about the ones you see used by the gremlins you fight in the clockworks... not just described as being used by them...

I don't really get why people think that the autogun series covers every type of gun. People think it is a magical machine gun, shotgun, flamethrower, SMG, battle rifle, or any other type of gun you can think of simply because it fires multiple bullets with a trigger pull and other guns that aren't pistols fire multiple bullets with a trigger pull.

I mean, honestly, if you used that logic, you'd removed almost every single weapon from the game, since most are reskins and have very little functional differences.

I don't think a flamethrower makes a whole lot of sense in this game given the way that click = fire hold = charge and flamethrowers are generally hold down to spray weapons, but that doesn't mean that there aren't plenty of other guns that aren't viable options.

Right now the only REAL gremlin weapons are:

Rocket Hammer line
Deconstructor line
Wrench Wand
Thwack Hammer

I wouldn't even argue that Dark Retribution is a gremlin weapon, since seerus doesn't actually USE it. (his bombs don't have the same appearance or mechanics at all)

Also where's our GREMLIN ARMOR? We have Mask of Seerus, and even the (stupidly rare) Ironfang Shield, but no armors?
