Let me use my emergency revive to open energy room doors.

I recall there being a special room in clockwork tunnel levels in which you choose between health boxes or treasure boxes, why not do a take on that with your emergency revive?

-It would encourage team play a little more and reward smart gameplay.
-Going into danger rooms without your emergency revives would be a good way to burn these sparks that I'm getting in surplus as well. (A light joke, I realize not everyone has sparks to spare.)
-Those treasure rooms with multiple energy doors would require multiple knights to open, encouraging parties.

Yep, great idea. I was thinking on this earlier, having lil gate keys drop from boxes in the clockworks to open gates in the clockworks, but the energy revive would be excellent, a simpler option than specific keys, and one that would indeed help team play as well as offer some risk. Perhaps they would need to call it Spare Energizer or something similar, to keep terminology in the spirit of things.

One energy gate is not worth a revive. Not even close.

And what's wrong with having that as an OPTION?

Warp-Master probably can't do without it.

Which is fine of course, but if that's the case the Cosmolion is right, just don't do it.
Being opposed to this idea simply because you aren't comfortable with losing your free revive (that you get every floor and shouldn't be there as a crutch) isn't a concrete argument. The value of a free revive you get every floor? I guess it's free?
There are many benefits that have been proposed to doing this. If you are against this I would love to hear counter-points.

Why should it be only you and not for the rest of us? :3

This is a great idea. Hell I'd even use sparks of life it if was an option.

What I meant was that the emergency revive is not worth 3-5 CE. My completely irrational and unscientific estimate is that it's worth 10 CE. So I'd be perfectly cool with being able to convert an ER to 2 or 3 free energy object activators. But Three Rings would be much more likely to make it a one-and-done thing out of sheer laziness.

Also, I posted a thread back in July with GM confirmation that emergency revives aren't based on energy, so this probably wouldn't happen no matter what.

Bump for great justice!

I would like to push this for more support. With energy going through such a change things like energy doors should also be adjusted in some way accordingly. Please give this thread more support.

It saves ce, but that might also detract (ever so slightly) from OOO's income.
One problem may be how it would fit in to the game. How do you use a first-aid kit to open doors? Remember we use sparks of life to revive now, not energy. It's kind of weird how you give life to a door and it opens (satanic ritual?).
