The Forge, being new and all, needs improvements. I propose a new, improved idea of the Forge, with heat and the occasional Heat Crystal loss, to make it easier on players to Level their said gear.
It will contain...
~ Little to no Heat Crystals needed.
~ Heat sacrifice over wasted Crystals.(In the case of failure)
~ The same possible bonuses.
~ Wider variety of chances.
The way it would work would be that, say a Player has a fully heated, Level 5 piece of gear, (I will say Weapon) and needs to use the Forge to get it to Level 6. The player has 5 choices to make~
~10% Chance, REQUIRES 5 Heat Crystals, One Guaranteed and high chance of bonuses
~30% Chance, REQUIRES 3 Heat Crystals, High chance of a bonus or 2
~50% Chance, REQUIRES 1 Heat Crystal, Fair chance of a bonus
~70% Chance, Very Low chance of a bonus, no Heat Crystals needed
~90% Chance, No bonus or Heat Crystals needed
~If any choice fails, the Weapon will only have that amount of heat left.
As of Heat Crystals, they will be less likely to appear, but not as much as Orbs or Sparks. Though they will appear singular or in pairs.
I was expecting this to be a troll thread about removing the forge and bringing back the old system, but I can see how this works.
