I was just playing the game and thought of a new boss and what it would do.
Boss - Core's clone(s)
Lore: The core is protecting itself from being destroyed or being corrupt and will kill anything or anyone. The core clones the people that enter and uses their own weapons. The core has killed so many people that have entered and some of them where the Alpha squad. The core is full of energy that powers the entire planet, if it was corrupted by the swarm, the planet would turn dark and all people would be swarm. If it was damaged or destroyed, the planet would start to collapse or even disappear.
Phase 1: It copies your knight's items and Battle Sprite, The attacks are different depending what item they are using. They act similar to the Phantoms from the Graveyards levels when they have a sword out. They act similar to Gremlin Mortafire's when they have a gun out (They have breakable shields up as well). They act similar to Gremlin Demos if they have a bomb out (Hope you didn't bring the Dark Retribution). When he reaches half-health, he will start to use the sprites skills (Still the same phase, slightly harder now). His damage type depends on the weapon he uses. Depending on how many people you have, the more clones there are e.g. 4 players = 4 clones
Phase 2 is a lot more creepy and much more difficult. The swarm breaks through the sanctuary and starts to enter the core and corrupts the boss. Now his attacks deal a lot more damage and now he can transform into previous shadow boss. There is also a permanent swarm seed, Swarm turrets and swarm spawners. He attacks similar to phase 1, but he is a lot faster. When the player gets to really low health (after the Emergency revive), the core activates given the player extra power to defeat the boss.
The way to access the core boss is by defeating Darkfire Vanaduke. After you reach the sanctuary and go down the lift, it takes you inside the core.
The clones can only attack the person they copied but the person can only damage the clone.
Any thoughts? This is just a random idea for a boss in the core.
So why is this in the General Discussion?
