Any time you play lockdown with guardian you will think timing is everything but in this case its not. If you didn't know there is something called "attack cancel" where you can not attack or move when someone hits you. That's why I want you guys to take off where a hit cancel your attack. Spiral Knight am going to use YOUR WORDS in the game Izola the guardian in hall of heroes said this "heavy weapon require precise timing to use effectively". Now lets check our friend and everyone's favorite Echo the Striker and see what he/she said "hit them hard and get out". Whats the point to get out when you can keep hit them none stop and they cant do anything to stop you. I think i made my point and have a spiral day. sorry if my English was bad.

The rules may not apply to LD because knights recover quickly, but they sure work against monsters :P
With timing, you can make the monster flinch and negate it's attack. Or you can time your attack after their attacks, when they are vulnerable (necesary to fight lumbers, trojans or vanaduke).

I guess I'll just put this here too
if u guyz want me to give funny example just ask here is a simple you get in a fight in real life and when the punch hit you u r saying ow that hurt the time your saying that the next punch have hit you already. now your saying ow that punch and it keeps on going. Plz note you didn't land a hit u were crying from taking hits all day.
