If they don't want us to spoil anything why do they put it in the game files where anyone could find them? Just a thought, not a "in-your-face".

Except that 90% of the spoilers are in the preview client, which the majority of people have no idea how to install, yet alone know the location of where new items are downloaded to.
Three Rings is being gracious enough to separate the people who want to see pre-released content from the people who don't, and a lot of people like to abuse that.
Anyway, isn't your logic like "if you didn't want me to steal that car, you wouldn't have left the keys to it out in the open". It doesn't make automobile theft excusable in that case.

On your second point, don't the developers use the preview server to test stuff when they're developing it?
It's pretty disgusting how some people think it's nice of them to break someone's surprises, especially, when it's clearly against the terms of service. If it depended on me, I'd make the penalty for spoiling stuff a permanent ban with no option of it being removed ever.

And no, Thecriderman confirmed that developers have their own server. Well... he didn't confirm it, but he did state it. His word is as good as fact/Zeddy. Seriously; I was talking to him about the new content and speculating about stuff, and he got grumpy at me because he thought I expected him to answer all the speculative questions I was asking. :P

I remember a while ago a spoiler leaked about the last Matt smith episode of Dr. Who. The producers put up a Facebook posting asking fans not to post anything about the episode until it actually aired, and people complied (they also filled the poet's comment section with hilarious fake spoilers, but that's neither here nor there).

Doctor Who is serious business. I hear there's this British rule that you're not allowed to phonecall anyone while it's airing(could be complete bull, since I can't find a source, but no one denied it where it was stated).
It's not so much that we're not allowed to phone people as nobody will pick up because they're too busy watching Doctor Who. Or if they do, they'll be very annoyed with you for interrupting it.
