Infectious

i traded a 3 month live card for 9.95 in energy, burned 200 on 2 revives (yes, i was drunk, my fault)
next day, i had very little to show for it.
but, that was on my drunkerd dumb part.

anyways,
say for 40-60 bucks, a one time fee, your account doesn't use energy to battle through the depths and reviving yourself.
(to combat people being dumb and doing revives all too often, start them back at the beginning of the level with no equipment, they pick up their corpse)
you're practically buying the game.
want more energy to burn on crafting so you can screw all the free players?
buy it at the same price others do.

i would gladly pay 60 bucks to not have to pay energy for simply playing the game.
if you wanted to pay for someone else' energy tab, it burns your energy.
want normal revive? (saying my other option came into effect) use energy for it.
but really, their should be a peak at how much it costs to revive, i stupidly spent 120 on a revive.
let's say a max of 40 (even that's a little steep, 20 would be acceptable and tolerable, even irritating at times)
i've been addicted since i started playing last week, haven't taken a day off.

the binding issue with items...
a headache all in it self,
why would an item bind to you?
you can un-equip it and put something else on.
i know it's to use energy for the company to pay their bills and for new content n maintenance n what not.
if there wasn't a limit on how much you can play, people would be on more and more likely to be seduced into buying energy.

d2 had it all figured out, no one need contest with that.
i'm sure a lot of kiddies would beg their parents to buy the game just to play.
less complaints, less frustrations, more time having fun.
oh, and another thing, there's no profit in trying to get max 2 star items,
when it's costing 50 energy to make, that's 2500 crowns just to break even on energy,
when you're competing with people selling at top bids of 2000 (been noticing more being sold at 1000 crowns)
there's just no competing, and when you do try to break even, people think you're outrageous and trying to rob them.

that reflects on the developers, team members and company behind it.
it gives you that detroit feeling (if you haven't been, area businesses for the most part give a shady vibe, they're only friendly for your money, then when you want to take advantage of a earlier promised free of charge service, they say it ended and end up getting forced into paying it)
it's like paying taxes on your taxes, it's ridiculous.
the spike in energy costs to create items wasn't balanced, it would be acceptable if items didn't bind.

he's another idea, crafting your own items and "trademarking" them.
take so and so item combinations and make this or that.
i can do without buying some lame item name.
but, having the option to be creative in creating your own unique gear.
that's exciting, plus profiting on the company's part.

maybe i'm crazy,
maybe i played too many games growing up,
maybe d2 had me hooked for 10 years (on and off [mostly on]) because they had hardcore mode, endless cube recipes, crafting (i thoroughly enjoy the no messing with stat points and worry if i messed up my skill tree) rune words, "secret" levels. i've noticed walls on maps that could easily be some hidden entrance to some treasure chest or unleash a unique monster. i hate the fact that as i figured out the UV stuff, that i really dont want to waste materials and 800 energy on acquiring a leviathan blade with no UV (or rather a very slim chance of acquiring one or one that i want) of max increased attack speed.

it seems like three rings didn't have enough game testing, i'm not pointing fingers, but many companies can be plain retarted. take rs for example, who wants to waste time chopping wood and mining ores and blah blah blah just to make something when they can just as easily suck it up and pay for the items they want.
people are impatient, they want instant gratification.
that's the epidemic with this information age, too many people spouting their mouths about stuff they've only heard of, and all too many gullible minds.
if you guys listened to me, i'm pretty darn sure this game would be banking.

and another thing, those terms and conditions,
too long to even bother reading, not to mention you need a lawyer present just to understand the terms or spend all day with your nose in the dictionary just to try and comprehend and still fall short of understanding it completely.
why not be different and have a few rules written in bold language easily understood?
would that not give you guys a curve on other companies?
for 1, it'd cause people to talk about it because it's never been seen (household name, sonic ring a bell?)
i mean really,
there's so many little things that can be done to boost profit and make the game more enjoyable.
all players want to have is FUN, money becomes something to get out of the way to get to the enjoyment.
if you've got a great game, it'll sell itself.
i must of felt compelled to type this much (as i only wished to type a few lines!).
