So... I was thinking of a sleep based haze bomb... However, enemies would have a chance of sleep walk. They would still be healing from the sleep, but you couldn't wake them, and they will still be actively trying to kill you.

PvE: A different variatuon of Freeze that HEALS enemies.
PvP: Sleep+Brandish Charge/Gran Faust Combo=Beyond OP
The discussion is a brainstorming session of the matter. We have two statuses that rarely see use, why? Because they are too game breaking. I want everyone to pitch in ways to utilize these two statuses, sleep and curse, and give the development team some ideas of rebalance
Sleep was removed, because in early SK, there was a Sleep level that caused many deaths to those who got hit by a Sloom. Because the Status would render them immoble & vulnerable, Sloom(s) would attack & inflict even more Sleep, causing a never-ending loop until death.
If Sleep was introduced back, I would at least like for Lumbers to have a very slim chance of causing Sleep if their attack lands.
I was told that the Slooms were abused as a easy way to get health.
Get attacked, go to sleep, heal, other player shield bumps it away, you wake up. Now your friends turn, etc.
Sleep is generally a horrible status. It is useless for players to have, and broken for monsters.

So, this isn't a suggestion much. It's more of everybody doing the work.
Sleep is a bad status. It is better to replace it. Here is a replacement: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/85005
And make LD MORE unbalanced? -9,001
Oh nooooo, something unbalanced in lock down? You want to remove unbalanced stuff from lockdown, stop using Faust, avenger, toothpicks and hammers. Otherwise, it's all fair game
+1 to my post I made on the thread waffle linked about another thread about about the same thing.
There's nothing to brainstorm. I've partaken in discussing the balance of sleep on several different threads, and so far nobody's been able to come to a conclusion because sleep is just too broken underneath its current name.
The last time I got affected by sleep my character when into a vibrating spasm.

What do we discuss about if you don't provide the details?
