Not as troll-y as it sounds.
After trying out Sk with a gamepad, I do find myself wanting for zero-cooldown dash evasion rather than the protective bubble.
The often suggested idea of bringing SK to consoles would probably require a total reboot of player control, using a gamepad really exposes how different the game handles to a console game than if you have only ever used mouse and keyboard. [swords feel slow, auto target could be better, dashing feels more natural than shielding, button combos instead of 1 button per pickup/sprite action etc]

You can arrange that for yourself. I use xpadder.
But yes, infinite dashing is not inherently a bad idea, it just wouldn't work with this game. All the monsters would need to be ramped up.

I would love for there to be a shield replacement that made you go fast instead of blocking. But innate infinite dashing? Would be ridiculous.
