In my opinion, Seraphynx looks overdone in its design... the wings + halo + bug ears + wolf tail on the 5*.. are all a bit much. The lower ones are kinda cute, but it looks overdone in the end, so I'll have to go with the mewkat.

I agree with Fehzor, I'd say the Seraphynx... before it starts turning into weird bug-alien thing, so I'll have to go for Mewkat, which is at least consistent in what it is.

Pig Tail Knights are the cutest thing in all of spiral knights as well in the whole gaming universe. NO ONE CAN BEAT THEM!!!
But to be seerus/serious Serphynx is cuter mostly the ones that you get flesh from the mission and or battle sprite boxes.

Mewkat if the seraphynx in question is decked out with all kinds of ultimate attachments.
Plain seraphynx tops mewkat if the knight it belongs to has the self restraint to not ultimate-level to disintegration ray/ iron heart attack.

Everything is so adorable
The wolvers with their cute little closed eyes matched with a wobbly mouth and a fluffy tail, the devilites and the way they leap away from their pit bosses and overall hug capability, gun puppies and the way they shift between idle and fire modes (don't forget the love puppies!), everything!
Maybe the apocreans aren't too cute, but I hope to see or make some fanart that changes my mind.
But we're limiting the choices down to two kitties. They're both adorable for the same reasons: cute little cat faces, the adorable meows, the tiny wings... The mewkat is more face while the seraphynx is more cat.
I can't decide, I love them both too much!

Mewkat all the way. It's an enemy but will never hurt you, even if you murder it like the merciless killing machine all knights are born to be. It's been around for ages, but is still exceedingly rare unless you're in one of those guild halls. As such crossing it is a pleasure as well as a treasure, something that Seraphynx will never be able to say for all its adorableness.

Still think baby drakon is the best. Maskeraith is sort of the ugpy duckling, except for the fact that it becomes even more pitifully ugly as it evolves. And sera is just a weord mmix of random body parts.

Mewkat or Sera? Hmm.
Which of these do I believe is cuter? Based off of looks I honestly can not say. I prefer the most basic version of the Seraphynx over the Mewkat. But as stated by many others, the ultimate versions of Sera are overkill and more disturbing than cute. So I can't give any vote in this case.
But now lets think about what each of them does best.
Mewkat: Holds up battles giving you no choice but to kill it or leave to Haven, constant annoying mewing that seems to never end, provides no reward for death other than guilt, causes the kataclysm and unleashes a chaotic boss fight that could end the world.
Seraphynx: Players often times carry these things around everywhere they go bringing their mewing along with them, can be sometimes useful assuming the owner remembers their pet exists, provides bragging rights for those ignorant knights that don't do anything but sit around Haven decked out in Maximum! swag factor (a bad thing).
Alright, did I miss anything? I'll cast a vote when one of them stops mewing all the time. The first one to do that is the winner!

mew kats are drop dead adorable for me. That and pigtail knights wearing snarbolax armor, theres just something about the mix that just looks badass and adorable at the same time, like i'd date my knight if she was real.
