I'd like to /hide and /unhide text in the chat window without resorting to /clear
Otherwise there's a big chunk of screen on the window that's like a blind spot when playing the game.

I hate chat in LD, i just want it to be toggleable there.
alternatively, how about turning off chat for certain things, like getting drops or direct /say ?
no more annoying "oh hey, you got a light shard!" 30 times in a row

I think we should be able to toggle how many lines are visible. I still want to see it in LD, but maybe not taking up 1/8 of my screen.

Getting spam "Lol AA" in LD is annoying.
Being able to hide chat text will be nice.
The chat just sort of becomes visual clutter, even on higher resolutions. I'd love to be able to hide it.
