Oh yes.
+1
But why make cruel mode when you have an elite mode?
HAHAHAHAHA*HACK*HAHAHAHA WOOO HAHAHAHA. WOAH SHEIT. LEMME CATCH MY BREATH DAT DERE WAS FUNNY. Hehe.
/e Teary eyed
...Oh wait, you actually think elite is hard? My bad bro, carry on then.
Cruel mode should also make nothing drop from Treasure Boxes.
To be even more cruel.
And our Sparks are used automatically on death.
@ Dibsville
Auto spark revs would mean never ending life for players that have hundreds of sparks on hand, so it isn't really cruel.
What WOULD be cruel is to bring back the old scaling energy rev system, and make it the only way to revive from death; i.e. no ER or sparks may be used in cruel mode.
But it has to auto-use it.
So we can't just say "Oh, you want me to use 1000 energy to revive? Let me just not."
And then it auto-revs and uses our energy anyway.
That'd be cruel.
EDIT: For the love of God, OP, change the title to "Make a cruel mode", not "Make an cruel mode".
Wait. Since when I say elite is too hard (or maybe you are pointing it to someone else)
What I meant is we doesn't really need so much MODES. Just put it on elite and done. Make it simple like
Easy, Normal and Hard.
There are no need to
Very very very very easy, very very very easy, very very easy, very easy, easy, not so easy, very normal, etc.
EDIT: @Dibsville
change the title to "Make a cruel mode", not "Make an cruel mode"
Thanks god I'm not the only one.
@ Aplauses
Because, the current games modes are good enough as they are -although elite could use a difficulty boost- while a cruel mode would be something that isn't even feasible to complete. Or at the very least only a select few people would be able to do it. So if you made the only hard mode in the game cruel mode, no one would do it and a majority of the people player would be doing easy.
The purpose of cruel mode is to give players a challenge above hard mode, but if there is no hard mode then there is no basis to found a cruel mode.
P.S
I'm a bit of a Grammar Nazi. I agree with Dib, the title needs to be changed.
@Masterreeve
Didn't Autofire say "I wanna see how long I can retain my sanity."
That would mean auto revives would be PERFECT for this mode.
+1.
Playing mind games with long-time vanguards FTW. :3
EDIT: pl0x. The title. I CAN'T TAKE IT. /suicide.
unopenable doors with infinite treasure boxes, mewkats, and lovepuppys on the other side
NOW WE ARE GETTING EVIL >:)
And we should be able to break some of the boxes we can't reach, and they should each drop like 100 Radiants.
They would go all over the level looking for a switch BUT NEVER FIND IT
MWAHAHAHA
Also put in golden enemies
Also put in golden enemies
Golden Trojan ftw.
^
Now this is getting ridiculous...
at least one of every enemy type is golden.
Sanity levels: -9001 :3
Make your own cruel mode.
Go do gauntlet without BTB or FF.
Solo.
On elite.
Add no weapons too.
You have to use your fists for cruel mode. Have fun punching menders.
9,001+ all monster health
9,001 x 50 for Vanaduke
over 50K+ crowns per FSC.
Do it.
@ Scirio
I already solo Gauntlet on Elite. Granted, I usually use a toothpick for the second room though, but I could do it just fine with only a DA and AP.
Huehuehue I wasn't even talking to you kid.
I was talking to mr OP here.
Huehuehue I'm probably older than you kid, and if not I'm surprised you're still playing this game (I'm getting dangerously close to being a pseudo-pedophile myself). No disrespect, just saying.
And I was just saying that what you said doesn't really count as cruel mode, as it is in line with the current difficulty of the game. Cruel mode needs to be insanely hard and, I quote, "I wanna see how long I can retain my sanity."
Gauntlet, shieldless, fencing jacket and Cyclops cap, shardbombs only, no pills, no revs.
Welcome to the shivering isles! How would you like your fishy stick!
*The next time you log in, you're forced into a party with nothing but your Proto equipment equipped. You're partied with 3 others who are also in Proto and the difficulty of the party is set to Elite. There's no Arsenal station and you're unable to change equipment.
*The map your party is in is identical to Grinchlin Assault, except the entire floor is covered with Ice grates and slowsnow, the Greavers insta-respawn and you have 5 Apocrean Harvesters to look out for.
*All projectiles released by an enemy homes in on you with 100% accuracy and don't decay. All enemies track you when attacking.
*There are no Treasure Boxes.
*When you die, you automatically revive using Sparks. When you run out of Sparks you begin to use Energy which scales with each death. You get no invinciflashing or power boost when autoreviving. Being unable to afford the Revive cost deletes your entire party's characters.
*While doing this mission you cannot Return to Haven or log off. Closing the client in an attempt to force yourself into Haven deletes your entire party's characters.
Also make it dark and put phantoms and grimalkins in.
All 6 bosses and 4 shadow lair bosses are included in every wave and there are double enemies too, and you have to kill all the bosses
dats a pretty cruel Grinchlin Assult
Oh boy. For the millionth time, the OP has forgotten his own thread.
I think this is getting too crazy.
Autofire, you may send this god forsaken thread to the graveyard now.
Then people like [name] will make a thread like "SK IS RUINED AFTER 2 YEARS WAIT!"
Put that aside. But why make cruel mode when you have an elite mode?
Overall +1
