As I'm writing this, I'm idling in the right room of Iron Hulk (Unstable ping, I'm waiting until it gets lower). I'm in the middle-bottom zone, completely safe and out of reach of the Wisps.
I was checking my inventory when, all of sudden, my shield's health went down almost the half. It got stuck there, no recovering at all. I had to let a Wisp hit it to make it go to 100% again.

It's not the first time happening, but it's the first time I see the exact moment when it happens.

And before anyone says anything: no, it does not has to do with the ping.

Bumping this as it happened AGAIN. Now the shield completely broke, so I'm shieldless.

If this is a intended feature, let me know, please?

I've had this issue happen a long time ago. My shield was at orange colour and didn't recover from it. My friend saw this too and we found this a very strange bug. After hitting a Wisp the bug was fixed. It is not an intended feature and I'd suggest using F2 to file a bug report.

Jelly Jamm is my new MLP, get over it.

But this isn't about Wisps, it's about our shields. Wisps have nothing to do with this bug.

The wisps only work naturally like they usually do, as a NPC enemy, and make the things around naturally too (including hitting player's shield). So yeah. Like Wavara said, its not the wasps that's buggy.

But even if this bug never happen to me, gonna judge it's the stage's fault, if never happen in other place/stage/mission.

Nah, it has happened in differents levels. AFAIR, it happened (to me) in GitM, LoA, Nature of the Beast, and a random Arcade level.
It seems to happen if you idle in a level for a long time (about an hour or 2).

This is probably what's going

This is probably what's going on: Client vs server projectiles. Pretty sure the way the game breaks it down is: Server holds all the master data and sends data to player, player provides in put back, but in the midst of this there is a gap (ping based) in how they interpret the same data, separated only by time difference. In a perfect world the server would handle everything, but I've noticed projectiles are processed visually and how they are visually destroyed on impact on the client's side. The result is that if projectiles may have been destroyed on something by the margin of ping that is present, it will be visually destroyed to the player (because the client should NOT be let handle this data, but it is) but will exist damage-wise on the server. The result is getting shot by invisible projectiles, and I've seen damage bars fall off when I'm 100% clear the projectile wasn't visually there (oh polyps, you so slow with your projectiles), and have noticed this a distinct fistful of times.

I ain't a scientist, but this is my leading theory to the issue you're having, just catching the hits on your shield.

Hello! I'm in the Thunder arena from the Kat mission, went idling and, guess what? No, no cookie for guessing correctly.

@Whitechocolatechip
I don't think that's the case... Wolvers don't shoot things :P
Just to be clear, the damage on the shield is completely random and happens after idling for a LONG time, say an hour at least. I don't think the server is THAT slow...

Anyway, F2ing as usual. But it still confuses me.
