I'm sure that everyone knows that there was a patch that doubled the droprate of materials. This is only for this weekend and will be removed after that(OOO's steam post says it's only for this weekend).
My suggestion is to keep the drops like they are now. They already were rare enough, and the mission is still very hard, so no need to make the material drops less.
Keep the grinchlin assault box material drop rate.

There was a patch. The mail says that the droprate got increased(nothing about time) and the steam announcement says that it's only this weekend.

There was an official post in the announcements forum stating that we would get double drops during the weekend - we were already getting double drops from the last patch so I like others were led to believe we would be getting quadruple drops, in effect. But there was no change between patch day and the weekend.
Basically this:
First week get 20+ mats per run.
Patch day, now get 40+ mats per run.
Double drop weekend announced, still only getting 40+ mats, not 80+ as assumed.
I don't think the 40+ mat patch was what was referenced in the weekend announcement. Maybe it was, but seems an odd thing to do.

I'm thinking that the patch that made them double drop(the update) was meant for this weekend only and will be removed after this. That's what I want to stop. Keep the current droprates like they are.
As I'm too busy to play the game, I haven't done the prestige missions in about a week. But if I'm not mistaken, wasn't there just a patch before the weekend special that increased the drop rate of items permanently?
