Previously the starter pack was kinda niche with the only practical item of significance being the bomb, but as far as tier 1 kit goes you now get a bit of everything. I assume the sword and gun will get patched to 1* soon enough, incidentally alongside the now highly evident impending gun update.
The duelist was 1 of 2 guns I thought had been dropped from the Winterfest reskin event, so it was neat to see that it was part of another plan altogether.
