That would both be terrible to play, since the game is designed to be played with the camera angle in mind, and look terrible as well because the way the textures are made is also with consideration of the camera angle.
Also once again please try and avoid making duplicate threads that have been rejected multiple times for perfectly legitimate and sensible reasons.

Spiral knights is already made for 3rd person view if they have to make a first person option then they will need to remake the game so that it supports first person view.
So -1
