Hi kids, had a random epiphany pun in the shower and then ended up thinking of this.

So we have red, yellow, and purple Battle Sprites... now what do we feed the blue and green ones to?

MY FREINDS

I GIVE YOU

SHOCKTOPUS

A shock-based floating lil' octopus thing. He eats green crystals.

Skills:

Flurry--> A) Volt Flurry --> B)Hyper Flurry

Flurry is the Shocktopus's first skill. It moves a fixed distance or stops at your cursor, and begins rapidly spinning, dealing damage and shocking enemies caught in the area. Volt Flurry increases shock chance and duration, and leaves a field that shocks enemies in the area. Hyper flurry extends Shocktopus's arms and has a wider range of effect and deals more damage.

basically, AOE effect vs AOE damage

Sticky Hands --> A) Suction Hands --> N) Bouncy Hands

Sticky hands is Shocktopus's second skill. It forms a barrier around the knight that absorbs projectiles for a brief duration or after a few projectiles. Suction Hands, the first upgrade, lasts longer and can take more projectiles. Bouncy Hands reflects projectiles but lasts much shorter.

basically protection or reflection (damage)

Kraken Call --> A) Kraken Assault--> B) Kraken Strike

Kraken Call is Shoctopus's final skill. It summons an explosion of lightning at your cursor location that deals damage, shocks, and knocks back enemies caught in the explosion. Kraken Assault causes five more small explosions to occur around the initial explosion, dealing less damage and also knocking back enemies. Kraken Strike deals massive (like, 5x damage from Kraken Assault) damage and shocks, but does not give knockback.

basically AOE big zone small damage or AOE small zone big damage

and then i was thinking... what about the blue crystals? I was thinking of something along the lines of a floating yeti or a penguin or something...
to be updated.

The name looks so cliche and unoriginal. The others are fine I guess.

I make you black, bluue and red all over

Not a bad idea, but the bit about making the attacks target the mouse pointer is off. When a player uses arrow keys/gamepad the mouse pointer is disabled, and thus the skill would not function properly. I suggest changing it to always fire in a fixed distance ahead of the player, to be more user friendly for all player types.

gods ain't gonna help you, son.

first up, quit saying kids, cause I think many of us aren't.
secondly, what masterreeve said.
then:
1 can you give some ideas of the AoE of flurry?
2 does the shield follow you or it stays in place? do enemies pass it?
3 Kraken Strike seems a little too powerful make 1.5/2x damage, not 5x.

Light bulb!!

I have an idea! What if SK added a new mineral an orange one and made 3 more battle sprites so you can chose 2 battle sprites. A basic one and an advanced one. Each battle sprite would represent one of the monster types out in the clockworks and Drakon, Spherinx, and blue crystal one can be basic cause red blue and yellow are the primary colors while the others Maskeraith, Orange guy, Green sprite are advanced battle sprites. Drakon represents beast, sphearinx represents fiends (cause of the trojan's shield and the healing silkwing), the Maskeraith represents undead (obviously) the green represents gremlin, the blue represents construct, and orange represents jelly. The orange one and Drakon can be the most offensive, the Sphearinx and green one can be support spites, and the Maskeraith and blue can be like the recon in LD.

New minerals wouldn't work too well

Our current minerals already cover all themes and monster types. If a new monster type and/or status were to be (re)introduced, then I can see another mineral showing up.

As for the sprite itself, I love how short but detailed enough your descriptions were. The sprite itself could be "Krakning" or something more... I don't know, exotic. My only complaint would be the cursor following thing. The cursor only shows up for mouse users. I would recommend making it attack about as far as a catalyzer bullet travels, and having the "Kraken Call" power create a thin line of electricity behind it, similar to a retrode's initial beam in their beam attack.

Okay then

Introducing then newest status in SK; Adrenalin!!!! Notice how every status has an opposite EXCEPT sleep? Well the new opposite to sleep is adrenalin. If an enemy is injected with adrenalin they keep running around and hurting themselves with everything they bump into and other enemies they bump into. If a knight is injected with it they can't stop moving till it wears off otherwise they take damage.
